How It Started

I spent a year at Fox Valley Technical College studying residential construction. That program taught me the fundamentals, but the real education came after I finished. I started working as a carpenter and quickly realized that this trade rewards attention to detail. Every joint, every finish, every cut either holds up or it doesn't. There's no hiding in carpentry.

Ten years in, I started Timber Grain Carpentry because I wanted to bring that same focus to every project we touch. Appleton deserves carpenters who show up, who listen to what you actually need, and who don't cut corners because the schedule is tight. That's what we do.

What We've Learned

Quality craftsmanship isn't about perfection. It's about being intentional. We build custom cabinets, remodel kitchens and bathrooms, finish basements, and handle everything from flooring to home additions. What ties it together is showing up the same way every time—whether it's a small repair or a major project. Your home gets the same care and precision.
